Protective Crowns and Fixed Bridges
When a tooth is cracked, no longer structurally sound or contains a large filling with decay underneath, the tooth can be repaired and strengthened using a porcelain crown. Crowns cover the tooth completely and, with modern materials and techniques, have a very realistic appearance. Crowns can whiten, reshape and realign existing teeth, adding to a bright, healthy smile.
Missing teeth can be replaced with good results using fixed bridges that are cemented on supporting teeth for a natural feel and appearance. Not only will the bridge complete your smile but it will also stabilize the jaw so remaining teeth don't shift position. (Also see Implants.)
